SLOW FASHION: As a slow fashion label, we spend a lot more time than traditional fashion houses designing, sourcing and producing our collections. We want to deliver the highest quality products with the lowest possible impact on Mother Earth and its inhabitants. We're in business to spread love, not exploit resources or labor. Someone, somewhere is paying the price for fast fashion, and it's definitely not the consumer. Choose your purchases wisely. The change you want to see in the world begins with YOU!
ETHICAL PRODUCTION: We source all labor locally - right here in NYC! Our factory is located in the heart of NYC's Garment District and is 100% owned and operated by womyn. All employees are protected by New York's Apparel Industry Task Force laws, including fair pay, and we are very proud to work closely with them.
DEADSTOCK: Deadstock materials are the consequence of traditional fashion houses over-ordering textiles. This textile overflow typically ends up in landfills (10.5 million tons each year in the U.S. alone!) but we're determined to put an end to this toxic practice by giving these materials a second chance. We source all our materials from local factory deadstock piles and from fabric recycling companies such as FabScrap. We also accept donations from factories and fashion houses and sometimes we even do a little dumpster diving around the Garment District to rescue the real gems!
CRUELTY-FREE: We never use animal skins or furs. The only silk and wool textiles we use are either sourced from deadstock piles or donated to us - think second-hand textiles!
GREEN CLEANING: This is an effective cleaning method that protects your health as well as the environment. You can gently handwash most "Dry Clean Only" garments at home, using an environmentally friendly detergent with the appropriate pH balance for the fiber you are washing. If you want to have your garments professionally laundered, your two best options are professional wet cleaning (make sure its a legitimate green cleaner) or liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) cleaning.

SHIPPING POLICY: We offer complimentary 2-day domestic shipping* (USPS Priority Mail) on every order. We ship orders in paper boxes/envelopes or compostable mailers, never in plastic. We try to use as many eco-friendly packaging materials as possible (NetZero compostable packing tape, recycled tissue paper, etc). Please recycle or dispose of packaging responsibly. In-stock items are processed within 2-3 business days. Made-to-order items are processed within 5-7 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. You will be notified via email once your order has shipped. *Please note USPS is currently experiencing delays due to nationwide Covid-19 impacts and your packages may be slightly delayed in arriving.
RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY: Items may be returned within 30 days of original purchase, unworn and in original condition with tags attached for a full refund. If you need to exchange an item for the same item in a different size/ color please email info@daherlabel.com to check availability. Customer is responsible for return and any additional shipping expenses. Sale items, accessories, face masks, crochet and made-to-order items are FINAL SALE.
